The five-star Hilton Budapest has been named ‘Hungary’s Leading Hotel’ at the World Travel Awards Europe 2018.
The 25th edition of the awards witnessed Hilton properties sweeping 19 titles. This year’s European gala event took place in Athens, Greece on June 30. Hilton Budapest, located in the capital’s Castle District in Buda was awarded the title of “Hungary’s Leading Hotel” through the votes of international travel and tourism professionals.
Zoltán Árvai, general manager of the 322-room Budapest Hilton mentioned that it is an honor to have been recognized by the World Travel Awards 2018. The award is testament to the genuine passion and dedication our hotel puts into going the extra mile for our guests, he feels.
The hotel’s recognition highlighted its newly renovated interior, as well as its commitment to quality leisure and conference facilities including various indoor and outdoor venues, meeting rooms for a range of different events, and hotel rooms with a view.
The World Travel Awards were established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence in the sector. According to the organizers, they are recognized as the ‘ultimate hallmark of quality worldwide’.
