The councilor of Tourism of the town of Velez-Malaga, Jesus Perez Atencia hosted a presentation for announcing that the region’s capital will travel to Paris to participate in the 2019 IFTM International French Travel Market.
The exhibition will be held at the Expo Porte de Versailles on October 1-4 and is among the foremost travel and tourism trade shows in France. It is a key trade event encompassing all the players in the travel sector – from tour operators and travel agencies to coach operators, airlines, event agencies.
To quote Jesus Perez Atencia, “The work on tourism that we have developed in recent years must maintain a level in terms of promotion and dissemination of what is Velez-Malaga as a tourism sector, maintaining the excellent level as part of the whole of the Costa del Sol.”
With their presence at the expo, the local council of Velez Malaga is doing everything to attract tourists to the area, thus cementing tourism as one of its largest grossing sectors to the local economy.
